Terms of Service

Chapter 1: General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

Thank you for using the Bible and Bible. The purpose of these terms is to outline the basic rights, obligations, responsibilities, usage conditions, and procedures necessary for using the Bible and Bible.

Article 2 (Notice, Effect, and Amendments of Terms)

1. These terms take effect upon being posted within the Bible and Bible or through other means of notification. By downloading and using the Bible and Bible application, you are considered to have agreed to these terms.
2. The Bible and Bible may amend these terms as necessary, provided the changes do not violate relevant laws. Any amendments will be announced within the application at least 7 days before they take effect. However, if the changes are unfavorable to users, a notification message will be displayed at least 30 days in advance when the application is launched.
3. If a user continues to use the service after the amended terms take effect, they are considered to have agreed to the new terms. However, users can reject the amended terms. If a user objects to the changes, they can stop using the service and terminate the usage contract.

Chapter 2: Use and Termination of Service

Article 3 (Free Service)

The Bible and Bible is provided for free. However, advertisements may be included on the main page and certain other pages.

Article 4 (Use of the Service)

1. To use the Bible and Bible, you must download and install the application, which grants you membership status. By using the application and checking the application guide page and phone permissions, you are considered to agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. The Bible and Bible does not handle any important personal information other than phone status information and location information.
2. Users can use the Bible and Bible for free without any restrictions. The service is available only on the device where the application is downloaded and installed.
3. If you use the Bible and Bible without using Wi-Fi and instead connect through your mobile carrier’s wireless internet, additional data communication fees may be charged by the carrier. Users are responsible for paying any incurred data communication fees to their carrier. For detailed inquiries about data communication fees, please contact your carrier.

Article 5 (Modification and Suspension of Service)

1. The Bible and Bible may provide software updates necessary for the service. These updates may include adding important functions or removing unnecessary ones. To use the updated version, users must install the updated version.
2. The Bible and Bible may display various notifications, management messages, and information within the service.
3. For significant operational or improvement needs, the Bible and Bible may suspend the service after giving a 30-day notice within the application.

Article 6 (Termination of Usage Contract)

1. If a user no longer wishes to use the service, they can terminate the usage contract at any time by deleting the application.
2. Even if the usage contract is terminated, users can reapply to use the service. However, there may be restrictions on using the service if the user reapplies for the usage contract while the service is terminated due to a violation of relevant laws, terms, or policies.

Article 7 (Protection of Personal Information)

1. The Bible and Bible strives to protect users' personal information, including registration information, as required by law. Personal information is used solely within agreed-upon purposes and limits, governed by applicable laws and the Bible and Bible’s Privacy Policy.

Chapter 3: Miscellaneous

Article 8 (Compensation for Damages, etc.)

1. The Bible and Bible is responsible for compensating damages caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence. However, it is not liable for damages in the following cases:
• When the service cannot be provided due to force majeure events such as natural disasters
• When service use is impossible due to communication service failures
• When damages occur due to reasons not attributable to the service's willful misconduct or negligence
2. The Bible and Bible does not make any specific promises or guarantees beyond those stated in these terms.

Article 9 (Notification to Users)

1. When notifying all users, the Bible and bible will do so by posting on the initial screen of the application or displaying a popup screen for at least 7 days.

Article 10 (Governing Law)

Matters not specified in these terms and the interpretation of these terms shall be governed by the laws related to 「Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce」, the 「Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions」, the 「Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection」, the 「Content Industry Promotion Act」, and other relevant laws.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

These terms and the service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In case of any dispute arising in connection with these terms, sincere negotiations will be conducted to resolve it. If the dispute remains unresolved, a lawsuit may be filed in the competent court as stipulated by law.

Addendum

These terms take effect on February 1, 2025.
